Yummy Eggnog 6 eggs, beaten 2 cups milk 1/2 cup sugar 2 tablespoons dark rum 2 tablespoons bourbon 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup half-and-half Ground nutmeg In a large saucepan mix eggs, milk, and sugar. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture coats a metal spoon. Remove from heat. Cool quickly by placing pan in a bowl of ice water and stirring 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in rum, bourbon, vanilla, and half-and-half. Chill 4 to 24 hours. At serving time, sprinkle each serving with nutmeg.
