8 cups cabbage, shredded (1 medium head) 1/4 cup carrots, shredded (2 large carrots) 1/8 cup onion, minced (1 small onion) 1/3 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1/4 cup milk 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup buttermilk (1 teaspoon buttermilk powder) 1/4 cup tarragon vinegar 1. In large bowl, mix cabbage, carrots, and onions. 2. In separate bowl, mix together remaining ingredients until smooth. 3. Pour over vegetable mixture and mix thoroughly. 4. Cover bowl and refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
